Applesauce Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

There are super yummy cookies. I got the recipe from my mother-in-law a while back and they are addicting! You were warned Smile

I actually tweeked it a bit this time to make them even a little bit more healthy.

I made a batch of these for our hair cutting get together the other day and the kids loved them. I don’t think the ladies even knew they were there. haha.

First you cream together some applesauce, brown sugar, butter and eggs. (Here’s where I tweeked it – I only used 1/2 cup butter and substituted applesauce for the rest).

Next you add the flour, oatmeal, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.

I use a cookie scoop to plop them on the baking sheet.

Now I somehow didn’t get around to taking picture of the finished product, but there they are in the back ground of Ben’s haircut. Just waiting to be gobbled up.

Trust me they didn’t last long!
