Did you know that many commercially made baby washes contain cancer causes agents like formaldehyde?
Scary, right?!!
I know you want the best for best for the babies and children in your life, so why not make an all natural, non-toxic, organic baby wash at home? And for less than $0.01, you can't beat that in the stores!
Here's how, it's soooo simple!
First you'll need the most amazing multi-use cleaner I know, Basic H2 and a foaming soap dispenser. I found mine in the clearance section after Halloween for .25! I took the label off and emptied the other stuff out.
Fill the foamer up, almost to the top. I probably could have put just a bit more in. Then measure 1/2 tsp of Basic H2. That's all you need because Basic H2 is super concentrated!
Swirl it around a bit to mix it in then give it a couple pumps and if it foams, you've got it.
Next test it on you're adorable subject....
Don't forget to have TONS of fun in the bath! :)
This baby wash is so mild on skin, I hardly have to use lotion on my boys! It is also a miracle worker on rashes! I'm going to be swapping this out for our body wash as well, no more cancer causing parabens for us either!

Sounds easy and perfect--alas, no more babies in this house.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know you could use that stuff on your body too! I guess it really is that safe!
ReplyDeleteOH my goodness! That lasted two years?! Wow! That is awesome! I have so many of them and can't use them because they are Christmas themed! I have a new Pinterst Power linky party and would love to have you share this and any other projects you have!

Very cool way to go green and save money.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great recipe....With 2 babies, 12 months apart, we go through a ton of babywash. 2 separate baths every single night! Definitely gonna give this a try!

Where do you get the simple H2? My son inherited my sensitive skin and if this is super mild then I would love to give it a shot. Also, does it have a scent?
ReplyDeleteI need some foam dispensers!
ReplyDeleteYes! They are so handy. I also use them for my hand soap with the Shaklee hand soap. Makes it last so much longer
DeleteWhat is in it? I tried clicking on the links, but it didn't show an ingredient list? I would love more information.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.
