A Delectable Treat - Reese's Pie

So I've had this hankering for Reese's lately. They are my favorite candies by far! So this weekend when I finally got food for the house, I got the ingredients for an AMAZING dessert...Reese's Pie!!! Yum.

We got the recipe from Curt's aunt a while back and have taken it to a few parties and it has always been a hit. But beware, it is so addicting!

Reese's Pie:
2 Oreo pie crusts  (you can make your own too)
 1 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
mix together and smooth half of mixture into each pie crust. I highly recommend slightly melting the PB so you don't break the crusts to pieces.

1 large instant chocolate pudding (or a small pudding to make only one pie)
make according to pie recipe using less milk
Layer half of pudding onto peanut butter layer in each pie.
Chill pies until pudding is firm

2 - (8 oz) cool whip
top each pie with cool whip
1 - ( 12 oz.) Pkg Reese's peanut butter cups -use half of pkg. For each pie, mini or regular.
Cut Reese's into quarters and/or crumble on top of each pie.
Refrigerate and serve or freeze for later and thaw in fridge before serving

Just as a side note, don't try cheating the calorie count by using low fat PB...there's not enough oil in this kind to make it melt or even smooth it into the crusts for that matter.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this yummy dessert as much as I do, now I just have to find someone to give the second pie to. Any takers? :)
