I originally started w/ this recipe,
but quickly discovered that it was a bit too "grassy" tasting for me..
But by adding some fruit, it really took away that flavor and it was
delish!
*Tip... to avoid missing out on the freshness of fruit, I often times will throw several pieces into the freezer when cutting it all up for the first time.
Ingredients
- 2 cups spinach
- 3 cups packed & chopped kale leaves
- 1 handful raw sunflower seeds
- 1 celery stalk
- 1 handful chopped parsley
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh pineapple
- 1/4 cup filtered water (if needed)makes approx. 20 oz
- 3 bananas
- 3-4 medium strawberries
- 3-4 ice cubes if necessary
Instructions
- Add everything to your blender & blend until texture is as smooth as you would like. Enjoy!
